Calming Facial Moisturizer

I love all the light scents of the facial moisturizers. This one has a beautiful lavender scent. It goes on smooth and it soaks in right away with a light non-greasy feel. I’ve been buying refresh botanicals for 15+ years, and they’re my favourite face products!

Very happy with this face moisturizer! I needed something to apply after I showered right before bed, but needed something I could just use a little bit of so it wouldn't leave my face too greasy since I would be laying on a pillow, and this worked great! Application stayed on well.

I'm always on the hunt for a good facial moisturizer especially one that is affordable and works for my skin, I do have sensitive prone skin and do have to watch what I use, when it comes to moisturizers - a lot of them work but not a lot of them are ideal for me and what I like - this one joins the ranks of it works but is not ideal for me. You get a fair sized bottle of moisturizing cream and a little really does go a long way with this - one pump pretty much covers my entire face, so this should last for a good amount of time.

Scent wise - this is def. for Lavender lovers, if you're not a fan of the lavender scent then you most likely won't like this scent as you can def. smell the lavender, now it may be ok for people with scent sensitivities but this scent stays with you for most of the day so something to consider as well.

Consistency is generally very nice, it's smooth and goes on very nicely - it does absorb pretty well - the only thing I personally don't like about this cream is that when it does on even although it has absorbed, it leaves that slick/silicone feeling on my skin - when my hubby touches my face he thinks I'm oily but I'm really not - it's just the moisturizer so that I don't like however this could just be my skin and not necessarily the fault of the cream.

Overall I think it's worth a try, I don't think it will be overly irritating to people with sensitivities - just be mindful of the scent factor and the fact that it's Canadian made is always a plus as I do like to support Canadian businesses.

Our daughter really likes this moisturizer, both for its lovely fresh scent and also as a light moisturizer. It's perfect for young skin.
